Patient care
We strive to deliver seamless, high-quality care to our patients before, during, and after their hospital stay. We firmly believe that our patients should be treated as family, with kindness and compassion. We understand that the diagnosis of cardiac and thoracic disease can be stressful for patients and for their loved ones; our team of physicians, physician assistants, medical assistants, administrative staff and nurse navigator help with coordinating care and guiding patients and families throughout their surgical experience. Our approach, with collaboration from other services and disciplines (including cardiac rehabilitation, physical therapy, and nutritionists), allows our patients to quickly recover and reach a healthy level of function.
We also believe that you have an important role in your recovery, and we empower that mindset here at NorthStarr Cardiothoracic Surgery. We pride ourselves in providing you with the finest care. We want to ensure you fully understand the diagnosis, procedure, and what to expect during post-op recovery. We want you to feel comfortable enough to ask questions. We will give you the tools to succeed and get back to good health.
